National Railway Historical Society Home Page
In 1935, a handful of rail enthusiasts organized the National Railway Historical Society. Now the Society has nearly 18,000 members and over 175 Chapters spread throughout the United States, Canada and Great Britain. It is now, by far, the United States' largest rail enthusiast organization. Membership is available regardless of race, religion, gender or national origin.

Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation
The Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation is a partnership of many groups including the Northwest Rail Museum. Our coordinated efforts focus on preserving the Brooklyn Roundhouse and surrounding area.

The Association of Railway Museums (ARM) was founded in 1961 to encourage railway museums to exchange ideas, information and to be of assistance to one another. You can search for museums by state, learn about upcoming conferences, and get other museum-related info on this site.

Oregon Electrical Railway Museum
The Oregon Electric Railway Museum is owned and operated by the Oregon Electric Railway Historical Society. The Museum is run by volunteers of the Society. In the museum's collection there are a variety of trolleys and traction equipment.
